TC Electronic
Danish precision meets boutique tone. Flashback delay and Hall of Fame reverb are modern studio essentials.
About the brand
TC Electronic was founded in 1976 in Aarhus, Denmark, initially as a rack-mounted studio processor company. Their Stereo Chorus Flanger of 1976 was a landmark piece of studio equipment. The transition to compact pedals in the 2000s brought their precision and quality to the pedalboard.
The Flashback delay and Hall of Fame reverb became immediate standards for players who wanted quality delay and reverb without paying boutique prices. TC's TonePrint technology — allowing users to beam custom presets directly from their guitar — was a genuinely novel innovation.
The PolyTune polyphonic tuner, introduced in 2010, changed how guitarists tune on stage — strum all strings at once and see which ones are off. It's now the reference tuner on professional pedalboards worldwide.
