Devin Townsend

Devin Townsend is a Canadian musician, composer and producer from Vancouver whose career spans more than three decades and a catalogue that defies classification. He founded Strapping Young Lad in 1994 — a band that redefined extreme metal with perfectly controlled sonic chaos — and later launched the Devin Townsend Project, where he explored more melodic and ambient registers.
